We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of REMAX Co-Founder Gail Liniger.
Gail was a business visionary and a force of nature whose courage, brilliance, and compassion helped shape the real estate industry and the lives of countless professionals around the world. Alongside her husband and co-founder Dave Liniger, Gail launched REMAX in 1973, building a brand that now has a presence in over 120 countries and territories with more than 145,000 agents. Her legacy of collaboration, gratitude and giving continue to shape the brand.
REMAX extends its deepest condolences to the Liniger family and all those who were privileged to know and work with Gail. Her influence will endure as a beacon of strength, innovation and humanity.
Condolences to the Liniger and Gail's family. I was blessed to meet her at a REMAX convention in Denver ...her participation in Children's Hospital drove me to Chair that committee at my Local REMAX office for several years and donated a portion of my commissions for years to the Seattle Childrens Hospital. She was inspiring and a legend. 30 years later I'm still with REMAX
She was the kindest sweetest and considerate lady we ever knew !!!! We will miss her greatly !!!!!!!

It was a blessing to know Gail, an amazing person with an infectious smile, penetrating humor and a captivating spirit. Raeann and I were privileged to spend time with her and Dave over the past several years, enjoying conversation and endless stories. They blessed us with a “Max puppy” that has changed our lives. Her spirit lives on in Shadow, and we feel her presence through him even now. May you rest in peace.
Very sad news. It was a privilege to work at RE/MAX in the late 90s up to 2009 and to know Gail. She always had a smile for everyone…! RIP Gail.
Very. Sad. I have many pictures with her. They are on my remax market wall for 40 years. She will be missed she was very inspirational to me. May her soul rest in peace.
